Wednesday Night Potluck
We will share a meal together on Wednesday, 1/14, 5:45-6:30 PM, when the Youth will head off to class. We will also be hosting the Daybreak Shelter Clients from Faith United Methodist Church that evening. Bring a main dish and a salad or dessert. Bring extra for our guests and hungry youths! Join us!

Volunteer Opportunities
Northwest Children’s Outreach (NCO)
After taking 3 weeks off for the holidays, they are in need of volunteers to pack the orders for those families in need. They pack bags on Monday evenings, 7:15-8:30 PM and sort donations on Thursday mornings, from 10;30-12:30 AM. Please consider volunteering. They do this weekly.

The Youth are heading up to the Pittock Mansion on Friday, 12/26. It is open from 6:00-8:00 PM. They will meet at the church at 5:30 to carpool. This is a free event.

Memorial Service for Michael Garrett
We will gather on Sunday, December 14th, 3:00 PM here at The Chapel for a time of celebration of the life of Michael Garrett. We will share stories, memories and honor him that afternoon. We invite you to come and be part of that as we love and support his family. There will be a reception following the service, so if you would like to bring a plate of sandwiches, finger foods, veggie trays, fruit, chips and desserts, it would be gratefully appreciated. Michael’s sister, Cheryl Cote, said that Michael’s favorite color is purple, so asked that people wear that color that day in honor of his life.

We have been blessing a family from Sweetbriar Elementary for the last 5+ years. So pick a card off the tree, purchase the gift, wrap it, attach the card to it and we will deliver to them the week of Christmas. Make this a fun family tradition! Gifts must be here by Sunday, 12/21.

Chapel Youth Christmas Lights
Our Youth will be checking out the local Christmas Lights, Monday, 12/22 and then going for hot chocolate or ice cream, so bring some extra cash for that. Evan will need more drivers and chaperones, so please talk to him about helping out with this fun event. All are to meet at the church at 6:00 PM. They plan to be back for pickup at 9:00 PM.

Be sure to bring your gifts to church with you on Sunday, 12/21, as we plan to deliver them to the family after church. If you can get a gift receipt for the item, please include it in the package.  Please be sure to the wrap the gift and attach the card to it. Turn it into the Info Booth, where they will check it in, put on a bow and the tag for the person. If you would like to help deliver them, please talk to Becky, in the office.
