Gather at Pastor Paul and Arline’s home, at 6:00-7:30 PM for a time of worship, being in the word, communion, testimonies and prayer.

Hey guys, join Pastor David at Stompin’ Grounds in Fairview for a great time of discussion and accountability. They meet weekly, 7:00-8:00 AM.

Fresh Hope

Mommies’ Time
Calling all Mom’s! This is a great time to let your kids play, as you fellowship with other mom’s. They meet in the Nursery, 9:30-10:30 AM, so bring a friend along.

Join David Wilson as he leads a study at Martha Hartman’s home, Saturday, 10/3, 10:00-NOON. Men and women are welcome to attend.
My Fathers House Benefit Concert
On Saturday, 10/3, 7:00 PM, there is going to be a worship night and benefit for My Father’s House! We need you to bring paper products such as paper towels, napkins, Kleenex, and toilet paper to donate at the door as your admission. There is no cost otherwise. This is going to be a great time of reflection and worship to our great God!

Ladies Bible Study
A new bible study at Donna Brown’s home, beginning on Wednesday, 10/7, 6:30 PM. Donna Brown and Kathy Rice will lead wives and mothers of young children through the book Women Living Well, by Courtney Joseph. This is a study on strengthening our walk with God, and building our homes and marriages strong. Please sign up at the Event table.
His Word for Everyday Life
A fun new Life Group will be starting October 7th at Richard & Ardie Golden’s home. Come for a time of devotion, encouragement prayer and Bible study! You are invited to attend. They will meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays each month from 6:30-8:00 PM.
Swap til you Drop
Ladies, time to clean out your closet and bring your items to The Chapel, Monday, 10/12, 6:30 PM. Coats, Hats, Shoes and Purses! Bring a snack and a friend!
October is Pastor Appreciation Month
In October, we traditionally honor our pastors, and take the opportunity to thank them for all they do for us. In the lobby, on the first Sunday of October, you will find a plastic tub, that you can place little gifts, cards or goodies in for Pastor David & Donna, as well as Pastor Paul & Arline. They will be out every Sunday in October for you to take advantage of. Watch for more information to come.
Vision Fund Fundraiser’s
Cookbooks are here!
Our first cookbook has arrived and is for sale. The books will be sold individually or as a set at our upcoming Holiday Bazaar in October. They will make great Christmas gifts for friends and family. All the proceeds go to our Vision Fund.
Can and Bottle Collection
Turn in your empties to the church, and we will cash them in for the Vision Fund. If you have a large quantity, talk to Eve Kaiser.
Coin Collection for the Vision Fund
Save your coins during the October and November, and bring your container full on the first Sunday of December. This is a great family project, that the kids can be involved in. Pick up a label today for your container. All the coins collected will be added to the Vision Fund. We will let you know how much we collected!
Restorante Di Pompello
Don’t forget that by eating at Restorante Di Pompello, in beautiful Downtown Troutdale, you will be getting rewards for our building fund. The church will receive 10% for Lunch & Dinner and 15% for Breakfast! Make sure you ask your server to sign your receipt to validate your reward. Then turn your signed receipts in to the Church Office or drop in the collection jar in the lobby. Invite someone to go to out with you after church!

We have two large events coming in October, Our East County Veterans Stand Down and the Holiday Bazaar. Check out the Event Table to sign up. You will be hearing more about it next week.
