Gather in the Youth Room at 8:30 AM to pray for our service, our body and our Community. Anyone is welcome to come.
Celebrating Pastor Paul & Arline Williams
Join us on Sunday, August 28th, for a celebration of Pastor Paul and Arline’s service to The Chapel. He has announced his retirement and we will take that morning to say “THANK YOU!” for all you both have done.
We will have a cake reception immediately following the morning service.
Williams Home Group
Gather tonight for a time of worship, testimonies, communion and prayers. They meet at 6:00 PM each Sunday evening. They live at: 2811 SW Country Club Ave. Troutdale, OR 97060.

Red Cross Blood Drive

Upcoming Events
God’s Not Dead 2
Join us on Friday, 9/9, 7:00 PM for an ice cream social and a movie. We will be showing God’s Not Dead 2. This is a fundraiser for our Vision Fund, and we will be taking a free will offering immediately following the movie. I hope you can join us. There will be childcare for kids 0 to elementary age. They will watch a movie too.
Family Fun Day at The Oregon Zoo
Join other Chapel Families and kids at the Oregon Zoo, Saturday, 9/17. Meet up at the front gate at 10:00 AM. Bring a picnic lunch or buy food there at the concession stands. This event is for families with kids of all ages!
DLT Groups Starting in September!
The Chapel is going to be doing a 6 week series called “Tempo” starting in September. We will be adding another facet to this, called Doing Life Together groups (DLT), which will be in members homes throughout the Gresham, Troutdale and Sandy area.
Each Sunday morning, Pastor David will share and then sometime during the week, the DLT group you have chosen to attend will meet and spend time together, discussing the topic, praying and fellowshipping. The DLT hosts are choosing the day, and time they will meet, each week, during that 6 week time frame. So you should be able to find a group that fits in your schedule!
We will start letting you sign up for a group, on Sunday, 8/21, 8/28 and 9/4. The series and groups will start the week of 9/11. The signup sheets are on the Event Table. We will have a Sandy area group, two Troutdale groups, and 2 Gresham groups to choose from. Please pick one, and get ready for some great fellowship and relationship building. Each of them are on a different night of the week, so you have many options to work around your schedule.
Vision Fund Fundraising
Can and Bottle Collection
Turn in your empties to the church, and we will cash them in for the Vision Fund. If you have a large quantity, talk to Eve Kaiser.
Restorante Di Pompello
Don’t forget that by eating at Restorante Di Pompello, in beautiful Downtown Troutdale, you will be getting rewards for our building fund. The church will receive 10% for Lunch & Dinner and 15% for Breakfast! Make sure you ask your server to sign your receipt to validate your reward. Then turn your signed receipts in to the Church Office or drop in the collection jar in the lobby. Invite someone to go to out with you after church!
Cookbooks are here!
Our cookbooks make great gifts for friends and family. All the proceeds go to our Vision Fund. Books are available for sale in the Cafe area.

Holiday Bazaar
If you would like to be part of the Holiday Bazaar team, that is working on the event to be held on Saturday, 10/29, please talk to Sylvia Maly. There are places for all! This is a fundraiser for the Vision Fund.
