East County Veteran’s Stand Down

 
It’s that time of year again and we are proud to host the East County Veterans Stand Down event. This is a phenomenal event that helps local veterans find resources as well as supply them with some basic necessities. We need volunteers who are willing to come and help the day of the event as well as set up and tear down. The stand down is taking place Saturday 10/20 from 9:00AM-2:00PM. Sign up at the event table or contact the church office and we will put you in touch with the team!

Chapel Family Potluck

Chapelites, mark your calendars for Sunday, 10/21, immediately following our regular Sunday service for a “family meeting” where we will be sharing the next steps in our relocation.

Beanies, Gloves, and Blanket Drive

Starting Sunday 8/26 , we will have a barrel in the lobby where will be collecting beanies, gloves, and blankets. We will be using them to stock up our food cart to have them available to give out the homeless we serve.. The drive will run through Sunday, 9/30.

Divine Healing Study Group
Beginning Monday 10/8, from 6:30PM-8:00PM, join Dorothea Martin in her home for a new study on divine healing. They will be studying the “Divine Healing Manual” by Craig Demo each Monday and praying for each other using the concepts in scripture. The address is 3702 Se Dora Ct. Troutdale OR 97060. Please contact Dorothea with any questions or contact the church office.

East County Veteran’s Stand Down

We will meet each Tuesday night from 6:30PM-8:00PM starting 9/18 and finishing 12/11. We will meet at Donna Brown’s home and Barbara Villalpando will be leading the study. Sign up at the event table!

Staff Training Day

 
Yes, once again it is that time of year when we need all of you who are involved with kidmin or youth ministries to get re certified. We provide this training for you! This year it will be streamlined and include everything you need to be all ready for this next year of serving our littles and youth. It will take place today, 8:45-9:45 (before church). We will provide coffee and a treat, and childcare. Please make every effort to come to this training AND to be on time so that we can get through our materials..

The 5 Love Languages Of Children

Parents with children living at home join us for this book study on Sunday, 10/7 and each consecutive Sunday in October from 8:45AM-9:45AM at the Chapel. This ends up being just a one month commitment but has the potential of providing real transformation in your lives as parents along with support for your marriages and other relationships. See Tammie with any questions! Childcare provided with small donation.
